now another member of BIG STAR has died. this is seriously not funny anymore. andy hummel played bass on "#1 record" and "radio city" and famously destroyed chris bell's acoustic guitar with a screwdriver. even though, in all fairness, bell had smashed hummel's bass guitar on a wall before. but considering hummel punched bell in the face just before that, eh, well BIG STAR had a lot of infighting.
also, yhea, my piece on "third/sister lovers". it's in the works.
as is another piece about my favorite records at the moment.
also, the new SWANS record has leaked. if they find my dead body somewhere in a river in the ukraine, you'll know it was so good i saw no sense in living further, since there will never be an album as good as this.
